Following is a list of commands that you can use for newsfix:

+AREANAME         Connect an area. The plus sign is optional.
                  Examples: +alt.bbs.watergate
                            alt.bbs.watergate

-AREANAME         Disconnect this area. You can also use !
                  instead of the minus sign.
                  Examples: -alt.bbs.watergate
                            !alt.bbs.watergate

%-ALL             Disconnect all currently connected areas
%+ALL             Connect all allowed areas

%LIST             List all connected areas
%QUERY            List all areas allowed to connect

%COMPRESS         Set compression to none, compress or gzip
                  Example: %COMPRESS NONE

%CUNBATCH         Enable/disable adding of cunbatch header
                  Example: %CUNBATCH OFF

%PASSWORD         Changes your newsfix password
                  Example: %PASSWORD verysecret
